Warranty Information

We offer a 30-day limited warranty for temperature probe manufacturing defects. The limited 30-day period for the temperature probes is a definite, fixed period commencing on the exact purchase-date and specified on the product description page as well as the policy page. The date on your sales receipt is the date of purchase unless otherwise informed. Unless the temperature probe has been damaged during use from exposure to flame, contact with metal, or immersion in water (the probe is not dishwasher safe), it is covered for replacement within 30 days of purchase for a manufacturing defect. This warranty policy does not apply to temperature probes that may have been electronically compromised or operationally or physically damaged, and does not provide any guarantee for temperature probe operation outside of the written specifications. We are only able to assist with warranty claims related to manufacturing defects for products within the limited warranty period.

Through your purchase, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in the limited warranty policy. We reserve the right to revise product warranty policies at any time, with or without notice.

    My wife uses this with her iPad for smoking ribs and pork butts. You can use the ambient temperature probe and the iGrill probe at the same time with 1 iGrill device. This allows you to track the ambient temperature and the temperature of the meat without ever opening the grill and losing smoke/heat. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about smoking or barbeque.

    I have found the guages that come with smokers are not very acurate and never at the level of the meat. I use the ambient gauge with my iGrill to control the temp inside my smoker. I usually smoke in the 200 to 225 range so this is important for me. Being able to monitor both the meat and inside temp on a single device is my best dream.

    Have used it only once (just got it 2 days ago) to cook a brisket. The first thing I did was to check the probe in boiling water. It read correctly. So far it has done its' job. We will see just how long the probe lasts since there is a weakness -in all such probes regardless of maker- where the wire meets the probe itself. Hope I don't have to revise this review. So far the iGrill has worked quite well. Have had it to a year.

    I recently purchased this accessory to go with my igrill. This item, along with the meat probe really helped me keep a close eye on the temperature inside the smoker and let me know when my smoker got too cold or hot. Thank you for a very innovative product. Note: Cooking this long will really drain the iphone's battery. Plug it in as much as possible. Blue tooth is a battery hog.

    Probe is simple to use and works exactly as designed and advertised to work.
    Needs to be updated so probe and/or iGrill reads higher than 400º when the Ambient probe is being used.
